You know those complete ass heads who don't back up their site's before messing around with stuff?

Yeah. I'm sure I backed up my content, but the question is now "where"? Closely followed by, "should I update the outdated theme I'd hacked or just make a custom skin from some other theme? Thank crotch that css is more or less cabbage to fumble through.

On top of that, I think I may have botched the dates of a mates bachelor party.  What a week.

Batman was awesome; I've avoided seeing any unofficial spoilers, so certain plot twists were completely unexpected. For a film that size I often get just a little antsy, but for Dark Knight, I actually didn't even notice the time passing. There is a type of film criticism from the phenomenological school that talks about a cinematic experience that is so close that you forget that there is a film and a projector and a camera before that. There is only the moment, and for a couple of moments I actually experienced that in this, a Hollywood film.

Be warned, it starts out feeling really generic, as in of a genre of noir and super heroics and thriller, and it stays completly holywood through the entire film; a slick and fast ride, and it works. It takes its elements and transcends so much so fast, so drasticly and for the better, that its created superheroic cinema. The jewel for an oft muddied genre.

I know Gotham's a fucked up place. It's so good to have a place where nobody; nobody wins.

Man, Avatar was so good. Seriously, almost an entire season went by without me cringing in horrible ham handedness more than twice. No anime that I have watched has made me do that, and the sacred cows of the west, the Diniverse and Gargoyles had that problem in spades. This is an entire three season series that was expressly made for tweens. American tweens! The most talked down to demographic on the planet!

It took me a good long time to get into avatar, because the first season had episodes that were awkward. I actually skipped ahead and watched the first part of season two before going back and giving it another go with more forgiving eyes. It was shakey but the animation was some of the most sophisticated that I'd ever seen on a television show, it moved with a fluidity that you only really see in high end anime like Samurai Champloo or Steam Boy, and the characters were written with enough finese that they were able to infect and grow on me quickly. By the time that the first Jet episode happened I was hooked and was able to accept the moments of childrens television syndrome for what they were and I moved on, and by about half way through the first season the growing pains vanished. The season one two parter ending is one of the best action adventure for kids things I have ever seen.

Really, start with the first season DvD and slow gorge on the series, I suggest an episode or three a night, so when you are done with the first two seasons the 3rd season box set is there waiting for you. Or if you're a filthy leacher, just permabinge until you're done.

Man, I really want to play something Avatar like, maybe a modified T&J game? it'd be too awkward to mesh it into Exalted and hero grace of being exacting is exactly the wrong game ethic for an Avatar like thing.

Hey guys, its my birthday today, and it was awesome, my girlfriend gave me a can of fat and I seriously could not be happier. Go figure.

I've decided that I'm having drinks at my house on Saturday.  Feel more than free to come, and to invite people who I might have forgotten to invite who might be keen.

As a fag nerd, I like the sisters of battle, and find Hello Kitty cute in an ironic kind of jizz, so when I saw this it rocked my world: http://www.exlibrismortis.org/ExLibrisnewSistersArmy.html
